Progressive Programs

The purpose of these 12 week programs is to develop young players so that they can pursue tennis for life whether it be as a hobby or competitively.  Players in these programs can shift over to the high performance stream should they decide to play competitively or stay in this stream in order to acquire strong basic fundamentals and enjoy tennis for life. Below is a list of the competitive programs:

Progressive 1 (age 4-7 ) Players in this program play ½ court with mini nets, play with the red court balls, and 17-21 inch long racquets. The focus is to have the children acquire the basic fundamentals and a solid athletic foundation while having fun.

Progressive 2 (age 7-10) Following the progressive tennis curriculum these players play at ¾ court with orange court balls, the net lowered and the appropriate racquet sizes (23-25 inches). This program is for recreational players who want to develop basic technical and tactical skills in a competitive and fun environment.

Progressive 3 (age 10-13 ) This program is for recreational players who want to develop basic technical and tactical skills in a fun and competitive environment. Players use green court balls in order to develop proper technique and to encourage long rallies.

Regional (age 11-16 ) This program is designed for students who are able to maintain a full rally on a full sized tennis court using standard tennis balls. Players may be preparing to compete or are looking to maintain an advanced level of play.
